BRASIL – Cover from S. Paulo, Brasil to Braga, Portugal



Cover with stamp of R$2.00 from the Portugal-Brazil Joint Issue: The Power of Language- Cruz e Sousa posted on November, 8 2012.
Special cancellation of the 'Portugal Day' at LUBRAPEX 2012 - International Stamps Exhibition.

Cruz e Sousa
This issue has been designed in the form of a se-tenant, with two stamps, focusing in the center, the poet Cruz e Sousa.
On the seal on the left you can see, beyond the image of the author's signature. On the right side of the stamp, it has been fragment of poetry Ser Pássaro, from the book Derradeiro (1945).
As a complement to poetry, illustration of a black swan, nickname of the author in literary circles Symbolists.

Fernando Pessoa
This se-tenant, with two stamps, brings at the center, the poet Fernando Pessoa, and the stamp  on the right side you can see is signature and, on the left, a piece of poetry Mar Português, the book Mensagem (1934).
The caravel appearing alongside a symbol of poetry is directly related to the content, as it leads to the sea.

Both stamps have the logo of the Lubrapex 2012 international stamps exhibition.
The technique was illustrated with watercolor to pen and digital finishing in Illustrator program.
